Thermocontrol Devices Work at NOVATECH Science Center
Screening devices by Thermocontrol now operate in NOVATECH regional offices.
An autonomous screening station Thermocontrol Plus is now working at one of the offices of NOVATECH — the largest natural gas producer in Eastern Europe. Regular temperature checks will keep the premises safe and protect employees from the spread of the Coronavirus.
Thermocontrol stations measure the temperature at a 25 cm distance. Their thermometers provide one of the highest measurement accuracies on the market, with 0.2°C per measurement. Besides, the device features a user database that includes photos, names, and measurement results of each person.
According to a Thermocontrol representative, «Due to the pandemic, companies have to keep their workers safe. It is essential for people who still have to visit their workplaces and places of business. Thermocontrol measures the absolute temperature of a person’s body instead of an average rate provided by imagers. Our solution is also safer for personnel: it doesn’t require people to contact each other, as it happens when using a pyrometer. Those factors are crucial for manufacturers, and each day we receive multiple orders of Thermocontrol in the US and worldwide.»
Thermocontrol Plus features a touchscreen display and a high-accuracy temperature sensor. The device integrates with access systems and grants or denies access to the premises based on temperature results. Additional functions are available: the station issues plastic keycards and identifies the building’s visitors.
Thermocontrol is a device that is developed specifically to aid in preventing the spread of the Coronavirus. According to John Hopkins University, more than 110 million people are diagnosed with Coronavirus at the time of this release. 62.3 million cases have been treated, while 2.4 million people have died from COVID-19.
